Weekly running fitness class in Shoreham by Sea!

We meet at Buckingham Park - south east corner of the park 

at 6:30pm on Monday evenings.

Each session is about 40 minutes long

It will include a group warm up, a pre-planned running session catered to all abilities and a cool down. 

This is for beginners and improvers - please come along and give it a go, bring a friend too!


 * Children under 18 are always free when accompanying an adult *

Every session after is just £5 pay & go – no commitments, no tie ins.. Just come along when you can make it!

Payments for your second class onwards can be made in advance online by clicking here or by £5 cash on the night.

(please note: if you pay for a class in advance online and cannot make it, I will roll it over to the next class you come to)

How fit do I need to be?

If you can do a cardio based class for 30-45 minutes then this is for you. If you think you are nearly there then please come along and try, we have lots of different options depending on fitness level and if you need to take extra walking breaks or water breaks that is not a problem. We are all here to encourage each other! So come along, have fun and see how much you can improve over time!


A bit about me (Emily Proto):

I started running in 2011, before I started I was 2 stone overweight and hadn't run since school sports day! 

I watched the Brighton Marathon in 2010 and it got me inspired and I decided to enter for 2011. 

I know what it's like to start at the beginning and I want to show everyone that you can do it too.

My first marathon time was 3 hours 59 minutes and my best time since then is 2 hours 54 minutes. If you are looking for a training plan personalised to your work and life commitments I can help you towards your goals and create specific programs for you. 

I am a UK Athletics accredited Leader in Running Fitness.

My running race time improvements are:

5k from 22:06 to 17:39

10k from 48:26 to 36:25

Half Marathon from 2 hours 13 mins to 1 hour 18 mins

Marathon from 3 hours 59 mins to 2 hours 54 mins

When attending the class I will ask everyone to sign below the following written waiver:
